The Youtube website is horizontally scrollable after navigating back from another website #2542

[Affected Versions]:

  • Firefox Reality version 8-33580132 (83024a6).

[Affected Platforms]:

  • Oculus Quest - Android 7.1.1
  • Oculus Go - Android 7.1.2
  • HTC Vive Focus Plus - Android 7.1.2
  • HTC Vive Focus - Android 7.1.2

[Prerequisites]:

  • The headset is turned on and the browser is opened.

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Navigate to Youtube website
  2. Navigate to another website.
  3. Click the "Back" navigation button.
  4. Observe the Youtube's layout.

[Expected results]:

  • The website fits the windows view.

[Actual results]:

  • The website is horizontally scrollable.

[Notes]:

  • This issue is also reproducible after quitting and resuming the app.
  • This issue is more damaging for small resized windows.
  • Needed by [meta] Improve YouTube experience #1760.

After further investigation it seems that this issue is also reproducible after refreshing the Youtube website.

I have verified this issue and it's no longer reproducible with the latest Firefox Reality version 8-40101959 (3c2a71e).
Tested on Oculus Go (Android 7.1.2), Oculus Quest (Android 7.1.1), HTC Vive Focus Plus (Android 7.1.2) and HTC Vive Focus (Android 7.1.2).
