Is there any other way to start the app in wpf instead of using the StartupUri property of App.xaml? #4442

If I set the StartupUri property to SplashScreenView.xaml and build the app, it runs fine.
However, I would like to leave the startup of the application to MVVMCross.
I want to delete StartupUri from App.xaml(MvvmCross.Platforms.Wpf.Views.MvxApplication) and run the app by calling RunAppStart() from Initialize() in App.cs.
But when I run the application it hangs after OnStartUp() in App.xaml.cs.
MVVMCross does not execute the basic initialization process of Setup and App (MVVMCross.ViewModels.MvxApplication).
Is there a way?
