It seems based on the issue below raised in the wrtc repo that they have been asking for M1 support since Jan 24th.
Until wrtc adds support for m1s mew wallet cannot be built on m1 macs 馃槙

Has anyone tried replacing the wrtc dependancy with @koush/wrtc one? Seems like that should do the trick
