Act 1: Demo released Registry

Phase 1 - Walk through Installation

• Basic walkthrough of architecture and components
• Can assume ES, harvest, registry-mgr are installed already on machines

Phase 2 - The Basics

• Run registry-mgr to create registry
• Run harvest on good test data to generate ES metadata
• Run registry-mgr to push to ES
• Query to show it worked

Phase 3 - Expanding Registry Definitions (LDDs)

• Ingest some data with missing schema definition)
• Show that it fails (or that the data was ingested but not searchable)
• Run registry-mgr to update ES with new LDD definition
• Re-ingest data
• Query to show it worked

Phase 4 - Configuring Harvest

• Show how to provide URL to the data (IMPORTANT)
• Show example of configuring custom query parameters
• Show example of reading in CSV
• TBD
• Prep for a few of the examples called in walk-through, but only demo 1

Act 2: Demo prototype API integrated with Registry

• Provide WARNING - this is not done and being worked but in dev version
• Point folks to repo for how to install and deploy with registry if they'd like
