From my memory of the input sheets and the DB schema, I think its pretty systematic. There are just overall very few sources.
In terms of hosting, that sounds like a good idea and could be done retroactively (we archive what's at all of the source URLs and flag any that are already broken, and in any case maintain our "copy" made at YYYY.MM.DD)

Can we aim to include more systematic linking to the original documents?
Should we aim to host the source documents which we collect (eg. as part of the database)?
