When running nvidia-container-cli info as root on Oracle Linux 8.4, the following error is returned (which prevents creating containers as root):
nvidia-container-cli info
nvidia-container-cli: detection error: path error: ///etc/ld.so.cache: permission denied
When run as a non-root user, the command works as expected.
Log in as root and run the command nvidia-container-cli info.
nvidia-container-cli -k -d /dev/tty info
uname -a
dmesg
nvidia-smi -a
docker version
dpkg -l '*nvidia*'
rpm -qa '*nvidia*'
