I am trying to get this to work to test the workflow but ran into the error
I have installed "Cuda" 11.1 and everything else as in the tutorial
Graphics accelerator 3080t

Just to verify, did you successfully install nvdiffrast: https://nvlabs.github.io/nvdiffrast/#windows before trying to run nvdiffmodeling?
It seems that there is a problem with the visual studio install/version, but please try install installing nvdiffrast first to verify.

Yes, updating visual studio makes sense, also make sure to tick the C++ development environment while installing VS2019

The original installation instructions are getting old.

I just tested it in Windows 11, using PyTorch 2.0 & Cuda 11.7.
Visual Studio 2019 (Microsoft (R) C/C++ Optimizing Compiler Version 19.35.32217.1 for x64)

It runs without issues.
