So I write mostly short fiction (see here) - I thought it might be fun to generate a novel using Markov chains based on my stuff (published and all the stuff in the trunk).
Not sure what I'll write it in yet.

I'd like to experiment with Markov Chain based text generation too! I've always been quite interested in it. I'll aim for something quite conservative and achievable to start off with, then see about improving it if I manage the first v it within the time line.

@Ogaday - yeah, I've only messed about with them - so this year I'm trying to be super conservative too. If I can generate the text, I'm calling it a win :)

Okay cool - so I hacked something together quickly using Rita.js

Here's the source.

Like I note in the README, I haven't included the source text, mainly due to copyright on my text and a big chunk of it being a novel I don't want to be out there.

Here is the novel's text.
