Apologies as I'm sure you consider this a feature request and didn't want an issue created, but I feel that the security risk warranted the creation of an issue here.

A feature request has already been created 3 years ago (MFA for Nabucasa cloud).

Fully agree. Remote UI uses MFA, if configured correctly, but connecting e.g. Alexa works with password only.
