What you’ll need
You must have the Application Administrator or Storage Administrator role.
Steps

Navigate to the storage objects you want to annotate:
To add annotation to… Do this… Clusters

Click Storage > Clusters.

Select one or more clusters.
Volumes
-
Click Storage > Volumes.

Select one or more volumes.
SVMs
-
Click Storage > SVMs.

Select one or more SVMs.

Click Annotate and select a name-value pair.

Click Apply.
