The validate storageArray securityKey
command validates the security key for a storage array that has security-capable drives to make sure that the back-up security key file is not corrupt.
If external key management is enabled, then this command applies only to the E2800 and E5700 arrays. If internal key management is enabled, then the command applies to any individual storage array, as long as all SMcli packages are installed.
To execute this command on an E2800, E5700, EF600, or EF300 storage array, you must have the Security Admin role.
Security key validation uses the pass phrase used to generate the file to decrypt the key and match it with the value maintained in controller memory (for internal keys) or on the external server (for external keys).
