Could not connect to Cassandra.

I tried to connect Cassandra using astynax. But i am getting a PoolTimeoutException.
Cassandra is installed in Ec2 instance and cqlsh is working fine. I don't understand what's wrong.because i have two Ec2 instance . I could connect Cassandra on one of them.
