Installation with pip fails #21
Comments
Hi! Can you try |
Hey ! Thanks for the super fast answer !! I am sorry I do not have anaconda installed on my machine ... :( I could do
and the install went through successfully. And thanks for your reactivity again ! |
P.S. : maybe you could consider adding a bit of logic to the CMakeLists to automatically locate the fortran compiler, even on a custom brew install ? |
I think CMake should be able to find fortran compilers in most cases. I'm not sure why yours was not found? |
Hey Nicholas, It was a conflict with an old $FC env variable set to the wrong path for gfortran (from before Homebrew refactor). So it's all good, thanks for the support ! 🙏 |
Good evening,
I am working on a project involving the long-time integration of an ODE, and the results you show definitely look very promising, but I cannot install the package ...
I am working on mac os X v12.4 with a M1 chip.
Python v3.10.8, pip v22.3.1, setuptools v65.5.1.
To really test only the install of numbalsoda and remove all possible side effects from pre-installed packages, I put myself in a new virtualenv.
🔴 I am getting the following error when doing
pip install numbalsoda
:🔴 This error also occurs with
numbalsoda
v0.3.3.🟢 The pip install runs fine for
numbalsoda
v0.2.1 however.Could you please advise @Nicholaswogan ?
Thank you very much in advance !
Best,
T. Bridel-Bertomeu
