And this is causing unexpected tanking of my battery life. This is with a database with ~200 entries open. Without it open there's no CPU consumption. Seems to be 2024.2.0 on Flatpak.

Are you doing anything before the CPU spike?

Or does simply opening the account file and leaving it open cause this?

Doing nothing. Simply leaving the file open causes this. I am noticing a battery level drop after a while just leaving the app in the background unfocused. Maybe this could be caused by some update function or animation?
