How to make a local variable into a global variable in js... #28

I need to access the variable that we have in our finder.js wrapped in a function and bring it over to our rating.js file... I have started looking into it and have already linked both js scripts to the rating.js file, but I have yet to find how to make the local variable into a global one as well....
