Please describe the steps leading up to this error, so it can be reproduced.

Same problem here, just starting the BLE app and then the error occurs, without doing anything else

@MIrlinger, @MrThanlon, the error is likely caused by missing installation of JLink Software. See https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/pc-nrfconnect-launcher#prerequisites for some more information.

We will look into adding a more descriptive error message for the issue.
