Disable instant Characteristic read?

Dear NS

I've just started working with the nRF connect v3.7.0 - BLE v2.5.1 app using the nRF52840 as adapter.

When connecting to my devices everything works, and I can view all services offered by the connected peripheral.
When I "expand" a service to view it's characteristics they are all read instantly.
this is an issue for me as I've programmed my peripheral to disconnect the client is they are not read in a certain order.

Is there any way to configure nRF connect to NOT read chars instantly?
