It's probably me, but I run "./curseforge modpack update 258273" and get:
CurseForge CLI v1.5.0
New version available: 1.4.1
Prevent crashing when no versions directory is found
Annnnd then it stalls.
Thoughts on what I have done? It worked flawlessly a couple weeks ago, then this.

Curseforge probably changed API's, I'm not sure though.

Downloaded most recent version and copied files over. Same issue. Program states that there is a new version, with a lesser version number, posts message about preventing crashing and hangs. Program previously functioned. Are there log files I should be looking for or posting?

Having the same problem. Any idea how to solve it?

The problem is that at some point curseforge tries to connect with this site northwestwind.ml that will not even DNS resolve anymore. And this happens no matter the version you are using.

What is it looking for? I'm not above commenting it out or changing the url to something I control.

I have been taking a look at the code and to the way the web Curseforge seems to work. To be able to use Curseforge's API you need a key and if I have to guess I would say that at northwestwind.ml there some kind of API acting like a proxy so North-West-Wind can keep the key a secret. And this API is the one that communicates with Curseforge's API.

So, unfortunatelly, I do not think we can change it to something else.

I hope I have explain myself correctly.

Unfortunately I don't feel like working on this project anymore. Consider using Ferium as an alternative instead. It supports more platforms, and has a way more active developer.
