  • Handle the {{article history}} template on the talk page correctly. The way to handle this is ft2name, ft3name, etc. And ft2main, ft3main, etc.

Example: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Mercenary_War&type=revision&diff=1054418191&oldid=1052347919&diffmode=source

Example: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:The_MDNA_Tour&diff=1089335185&oldid=1089332386&diffmode=source

Example: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Super_Bowl_XLVI_halftime_show&diff=1089335643&oldid=1089332417&diffmode=source

  • Step 2 - Keep count internally, then correctly update the /counts page later on.

Example: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Good_topics/count&diff=1089335876&oldid=1089332432&diffmode=source
