When I'm trying to run odata-cli.exe I get this error from Trend Micro antivirus which detects it as a "potential ransomware":

Maybe signing exe with Microsoft's digital signature would help?

@older thanks for reporting this. Where did you obtain the odata-cli.exe from? Did you download from NuGet? Did you use the dotnet tool install command or did you download the binaries directly from GitHub Releases?

@habbes I downloaded it directly from github. I didn't even know that it is possible to install as dotnet tool, is it documented somewhere? What is the name of NuGet package?

@older We'll check and ensure the version on GitHub is properly signed.

The tool is documented here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/odata/odatacli/getting-started

The NuGet package is Microsoft.OData.Cli.
