Legend Definition with Discrete Mapping get unwantet unproportional discrete ranges in some cases depending on the number of levels used.

I have understood from Håkon Høgstøl that this concerns integer results only.
For integer results, it would be nice to have a somewhat different legned setup option than for floats:

  • One color should be assigned pr integer.
  • The integer tick mark value should be placed to the left of the midpoint of its color bar in the legend.

This behaviour is elsewhere reffered to as a cathegory-legend, where the numbers is not interesting as numbers but rather as sorted labels.

Please correct me if I have misunderstood.
