I'm currently running a very long job (20-30 hours) that's just running wget so so it's progress is slowly updating.

I think a very nice feature in this 'job runner' is to have a small view that is tailing the log of an active job. Some panel that's maybe just 1/4 the height of the screen that you can open and watch the output of the job scroll by.
