Welcome to the MetQy wiki!

MetQy is a R package to ease interfacing with the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) database to query metabolic functions of genes and genomes. As discussed in detail in the associated paper (see above), MetQy can be used to convert key parts of the data contained in the KEGG database into R data structures, and perform analyses on this data.

Browse the side bar for information about this R package!

There are pages describing the relevant KEGG databases for this package, as well as introductory info and usage for the four types of functions:

  • Query the metabolic functions of genes and genomes
  • Parsing the KEGG database file to R structures to enable its use within the R environment
  • Visualisation the output from the query functions
  • Analysis the output from the query functions

For more detailed information on MetQy functions refer to the R documentation, both the help files within the R environment and the compiled pdf.
