the sphinx_git extension does not declare if it is safe for parallel reading, assuming it isn't - please ask the extension author to check and make it explicit

What's the verdict on this?

Hey @kylegibson, could you flesh this out a bit? I'm not sure what's being asked for here (or where that quote is from).

Apologies. I really should have included a bit more information there.

This warning message comes from sphinx-build when passing in the j option: http://www.sphinx-doc.org/en/master/man/sphinx-build.html#cmdoption-sphinx-build-j
