The Issue

Chromecast playback only works for the first video

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open a video, cast it
  2. The video plays
  3. Go on a different video and try to play it
  4. It doesn't do anything

Expected behaviour

It should cast any new video and replace the currently playing one

Actual behaviour

Can't play a different video

System Configuration

  • Device: Pixel 6
  • Android version: Android 13
