An evolution of the Instructable it seems you started from lives at https://github.com/genebean/PiWeatherRock and an updated version that does not rely on Dark Sky is in the works now. Everything is documented at https://piweatherrock.technicalissues.us. I'd love to join forces if you're game. There is also a Gitter setup that you can use to chat with me and other users at https://gitter.im/PiWeatherRock/community too if you want.
