X icon in IE is not working as expected #149

In your demo site http://openfaces.org/demo/dropdownfield/DropDownField_client.jsf , X icon appears for some fields which also doesn't work as expected.

This happens only in IE10 & 11

clicking on X clears the value ,but it comes back once the focus is restored

As per the discussion:

Add event handler on -ms-clear click/ mousedown and clear dropDown field on this event;
TODO: Please provide sample code to handle this case , so that we can take some decision.
