Is there a build that would allow previously compatible headsets such as the LG 360vr to work with modern Android gaming handhelds? I can't see a way to achieve this currently and own both the headset and an Anbernic RG556 I'd love to pair up and use. Thanks.

OpenHMD is currently NOT ACTIVELY MAINTAINED. You can try the Monado Project.
