Can't register a second (synchronized) handler with an already active logging source

If one handler is already active and is configured to use an OSGI logging source and a second handler (which is a synchronized handler) registers itself and wishes to subscribe to the already active OSGI logging source, the second handler does not pick up events from the specified OSGI logging source.
