I think the Issues template (what shows up when you open a new issue) is a bit daunting, and that we should edit it down.

(Relatedly, we might want to think about the goal for this, for our group.)

Completely agree. Ideas should be just that, not complete project plans. I think an online searchable database of resources such as are showing up on the "Maine Coronavirus Community Response" facebook page minute-by-minute would be tremendously helpful to Maine residents (and beyond), but the template stopped me in my tracks.

P.S. I'm Nancy Hudak, but GitHub refuses to update my profile from my roller derby NSO days.

Interestingly, now that I'm used to seeing it a few times, I no longer find it daunting. Though we could probably leave some of the sections out. And we should definitely allow for partial completion.

If people DO fill most of it out, it's a much better start to a project. If they don't, it's likely to just die on the vine here because others won't understand the gist of the project or the communities served...
