install problem on armbian #88
Comments
The script doesn’t add the repo. The system is auto-directed by the mirror. I would try running the script again but you might have to wait until the repo is fixed. |
ok - thanks. This is actually already 2-3 days old at least, got that also when installing plugins from within OMV. This is a complete re-install when i busted my network. |
The armbian mirror doesn’t seem to pick a mirrors at random. So, you probably get the same one all the time. |
is that something I can control? Someone to contact? I do not want to wait without any influence.. |
I just tried to get that release file from your first post and it works fine on my system. It seems like something on your network could be blocking it. |
hmm - Thanks! Updating repos before installing... /etc/apt/trusted.gp 100%[===================>] 3,06K --.-KB/s in 0s 2022-03-21 17:06:24 (48,4 MB/s) - »/etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/openmediavault-archive -keyring.asc« gespeichert [3134/3134] Warning: apt-key is deprecated. The IP address is still forbidden. So, this is a network issue. Just no idea where. I don't have a problem going to this new mirror either. |
Maybe a question for the Armbian forum if you don't think it is your network or ISP. |
yes - will ask i think I close that issue here |
The armbian forum was a bit slow, I tinkered a bit: use armbian-config to choose other apt-mirrors.. |
running the install script on bullseye (for OMV6) I get:
Err:7 https://apt.armbian.com bullseye Release
Redirection from https to 'http://stpete-mirror.armbian.com/apt/dists/bullseye/Release' is forbidden [IP: 173.45.128.12 443]
Reading package lists... Done
E: The repository 'https://apt.armbian.com bullseye Release' does not have a Release file.
and the script stops because http is deemed unsafe
maybe use https://imola.armbian.com/apt/dists/bullseye/ ?? (no idea - i am a newbie..)
