Hi @Openscapes/2024-swrcb-spring-cohort ,

Thanks for a great fifth session last Thursday! A huge thanks to all of the teams for contributing to conversations and commitment to trying new things throughout this Openscapes process. We loved hearing about your Pathways last week and are looking forward to continued conversations and momentum around how the Water Boards community can do better science in less time - for future you, your teams, and your collaborators!

A few things to wrap up:

1. Openscapes survey - If you did not have a chance to complete the survey during the call, please provide your feedback here! Openscapes improves with each cohort based on your constructive feedback.
2. Openscapes Champions Cohort 2-month Follow-Up will take place Thursday, July 18 from 1-2pm over Teams. If you do not already see an invite on your calendar, please let Anna know.

We are so grateful for your thoughtful engagement and impressed with your progress and Pathways. We hope you continue to iterate your Seaside Chats (and/or whatever other skills or tools you picked up) with your teams! Linked here is a light digest of Call 5.

Water Boards' Openscapes Teams Channel - continue to connect with all Openscapse Champions cohorts at the Water Board!

Goals: Each team shared their Pathway and we discussed how to keep momentum going forward.

Themes that came across through the final pathways shares:

• Data curation and harmonization take time. +20000
• Wanted to document where we put stuff! +1000
• Figure out what balls are in the air, and who is in charge of juggling – YES! +1

• How can we download Daniel? Capture his knowledge on Accessibility and store in GitHub as a procedure document
  • LOVE THIS! How can we download "insert institutional knowledge holder here"??
• Having this program and mandatory meetings was really helpful to dedicate the time. Sometimes when things are in the "would be nice to do one day" category they don't end up making it onto the calendar +1 +1 +1 +1 +1+1
• I would love to see more collaboration fostered between the different sections, divisions, and regions within the water boards. +1+1+1+1+1+1+100+1! +1 +1
• This might be wishful thinking, but SharePoint is not the best tool, it would be nice to have a different/better alternative (maybe promote more use of Github?) or at least more explicit training in how to use SharePoint properly/effectively +1+1 +1+1
