In an attempt to keep things consistent...(but may evolve/change as things develop)

• Markdown syntax for bolding (**bold**), italicizing (*italicize*), headers (## level-two header), hyperlinks ([text](url)) -- choosing this over css styling because it's easier to scan .qmd and identify headers/bolded/italicized text that's styled using markdown
• html for page structure (e.g. <div>, <p>, <br>)
• css for all styling

I like this approach, follows what we've largely been doing but gives more direction and consistency. Thanks!
