The Project.toml on master looks good, but I see that this is not live and is this is causing downstream issues with package management.

I would love to but I couldn't yet fix JuliaAI/MLJ.jl#841 (comment) . I'll try to see if I can find some solution in the upcoming days.

Ah, I see. Mmm... For what it's worth, I've made steady progress with MLJ issue 841. I should have something ready for review in about a week or so.
