WebViewer version
8.3.0

The current behavior
When I open search panel and click search (no text entered) it starts searching

The expected behavior
You shouldn't be able to search for an empty string

Steps to reproduce
Open search panel
make sure no text is entered
click search button

search spinner spins

Hi @zkrige

Thanks for the report. This is a known issue and we have an item in our backlog to address it. It should be part of our next release.

WebViewer 8.4 is scheduled for mid-April or earlier -I will drop a note here when it is released.

Hi @zkrige,

WebViewer 8.4 is now out, and includes a fix for these. You can get the release from our usual channels. Let me know if you have any further issues or questions.
