Promotion Error: User are not in this ladder

Hello,
First of all want you to know that I know there are two more closed topics on this issue, I read both of them and I still have the same problem. Yes, I'm using /pex promote [username] and I only have one ladder, so it's default. But I still get this error:

[INFO] Promotion error: User are not in this ladder
[SEVERE] Ranking Error (console promotes n3n): User are not in this ladder

Try reording the permission so the file reads from lowest rank to highest rank

Wait a sec, I can promote and demote anyone from co_owner to newbie, but when I do someone in owner, it gives me the user not in ladder error.
My owner rank is 0. Is that normal?

a rank with 0 means no one can be demoted or promoted for that rank. Its a security thing. In order to put a user in a rank 0 rank you need to do /pex user group set owner

Correct. Users that are members of a group with a rank of 0 are effectively not part of any ranking ladder. If you wanted to demote a player in a group with a rank of 0, you would have to manually set them to a group that has a different rank, then promotion and demotion would work as expected.

If you demote pdelong10, it works (group rank of 200). If you promote pdelong10 back up (group rank of 1), it works. But you can't promote any higher than that because the next group rank is 0, which as previously mentioned, is outside of the ranking ladders.

"The PEX ranking system is based upon group ranks. The higher the number assigned to the rank, the lower the group is on the ladder. This means that a rank number of 1 is the highest rank PEX offers, with larger numbers being considered a lower rank (less is more). Removing a group from a ranking ladder can be done by assigning the group a rank value of zero (0)."

I guess it could be a bit clearer. T3hK0d3 ultimately has the final say, I'm just another PEX user/server admin who contributes what he can to the cause since I can't really code. :)
