Iec066 - Methods returning values must not have Output parameters

Severity: Error Error

Checks parameters attributed with [Output], the attribute is reported if the method returns a value.

The return value bool is allowed if:

  • the method has the attribute [Eno]
  • or if the method has the attribute [Execution] and is inside a class attributed with [Function] and [Eno]

Solution

You can also use the provided automatic Code Fix to remove the attribute. ( Press Alt + Enter on the Error line to find the Code Fix in the context menu)

Remove the attribute [Output] or the return type.
