During our most recent PSL Leadership Council call, we discussed organizing sessions to present/demo PSL models at academic or open source industry conferences. Such presentations would help to extended awareness and use of PSL models.

This issue is to highlight such opportunities to the community and to facilitate organization of sessions.

Academic conferences that I'm familiar with and where PSL models would fit in well include:

  1. The American Economic Association Annual Meetings. Deadline for sessions is usually April 15 of the year prior. Takes place in early January.
  2. The Association for Public Policy and Management Fall Research Conference. Takes place in early-mid November.
  3. The National Tax Association Annual Conference on Taxation. Submission deadline usually early June. Takes place in mid November.
  4. The International Institute of Public Finance Annual Congress. Submission deadline usually mid February. Takes place in late August.
