Thanks for posting that! Are the pads larger, but the spaces between the pads the standard size? So basically the feet of 4 components can fit on one pad, but the spacing between the pads is standard size for that component size?
If yes, that seems like a nice solution. So simple a solution, that it's surprising hadn't seen such a board before that.
Recommend adding perforations between all the pads to easily snap the board to size of a circuit.
PS: It's maybe like "Little Polly's PCB Bakery" to do prototyping with one of those on a hotplate. Haha.
