Hi!

It looks like someone has added Peergos to the Free Software Directory (FSD). Thank you for creating Peergos and releasing it as free software under the AGPLv3! I really would like to approve it on the FSD, but what is preventing me from doing so is the FSD's requirement to review a specific version of Peergos's code base. The best way for us to review a specific version is if a project uses the "Tag" feature on the Peergos Github Repo. Besides being able to review a version, it also allows anyone to download the code without running Github's nonfree Javascript. Would you be willing to use the tag feature to create a downloadable copy of a specific version?

Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you for providing a link to Tags for the Peergos web-ui. However, what we are reviewing is https://github.com/Peergos/Peergos. Would it be possible to get a tagged release for that repo? Or am I misunderstanding the connection between /Peergos and /web-ui? @kevodwyer

We don't release builds of this repo without the web-ui. This repo is built from the web-ui repo via a git submodule.

Thank you for clarifying. The issue from the FSD's point of view is that Peergos could have its licensing changed regardless of the web-ui or other programs connected to it as a submodule. This is why the FSD requires a specific released version.
