sometimes atlases just don't show all maps in them

1.20.1 fabric
i have 64 maps in 1:4 atlas but only four of them are showing:


but after some time it just started showing normaly but it can break from time to time
this is how it should be:

ps. its impposible to delete those pins/bookmarks when there is more than ~20*, in old system was wrong too but this is just chaos, unreadable and unmanagable.

you can delete pins by using shift and clicking on them. its not really meant to display more than 20. You can switch to the alternative book view to have a little bit more space.
As for the map showing issue does it happen when you keep the atlas in your hotbar instead? additionally when it happens does it go away if you move the atlas item in your inventory?

no moveing it doesnt seams to work it just goes away after time. but on minimap it always works fine
