See test.pl

setting variable 'breakit' to '1' will cause perl to loop indefinetly

it fails in an eval called by AutoLoader where the require $filename
contains a directory '/' i.e. BZS::TestModule evaluates to BZS/TestModule

failure occurs for use, require and the same thing enclosed in BEGIN{}
fails as well.

Don't make install this on your system, just build and make test, changing
the variable breakit. See the changes in
local blib/lib/auto/BZS/TestModule/prnt_split.al

This fault goes back at least as far as 5.0 patchlevel 4 subversion 4,
running on linux 1.2.13, which is the oldest perl I have and fails on
revision 5.0 version 6 subversion 0, linux 2.2.14

Both of these systems are i86 based.

See test.pl

setting variable 'breakit' to '1' will cause perl to loop indefinetly

Your code does not even run. "mkdir $foo, 0644" does not a useful
directory make...

Please test it again with perl 5.8 and/or make a simpler test case to
show the problem.
