Describe the bug
I am having the same issue described by Vineet in this Slack thread: https://pipedream-users.slack.com/archives/CMZG4EBJ9/p1709041132251539

Lately when I try to test a workflow step, it gets stuck indefinitely. I can click cancel but even then, the page is kind of frozen — e.g. the links at the top to go back to my projects don't work, and the Saving status is still spinning its wheel. When I close the page and navigate back to the workflow, my changes have not been saved.

This has been happening for at least a few days across multiple workflows.

I tried following the troubleshooting guide but the hard refresh, logging out, and trying in Guest mode have not made a difference.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create a new workflow
  2. Select an existing trigger
  3. Select an event from the existing trigger
  4. ...and now it's hanging for me again.
  5. Log out of Pipedream
  6. Log back in
  7. Navigate back to the new workflow
  8. The trigger has been saved so I select an event and this time it works
  9. Add a step — choose "Run custom code"
  10. Click to test the step as-is
  11. ...and it hangs again

Expected behavior
When I click the Test button, my workflow step is tested and my progress is saved.

Hey @celestebancos, I also faced this issue quite recently. It occure when the workflow is saving and you execute the steps. I will add this to Pipedream internal backlog
