Adding additional @ apply rules for broader customization

Description

I'd like to add css apply rules to a number of things that cannot currently be overridden.

Expected outcome

I'd like to be able to, for example, optionally override these properties so I can have multiple lines of text if I want to.

There may be other properties as well, but those are the ones I'm certain I'd like to modify at the moment.

I'm happy to submit a PR if you're alright with this change.

Actual outcome

Currently there is no way to override those properties.
