whenever I use the command with a parameter the world freezes, I must kill minecraft and after logging back into the world, it enters the identical halt as before.

Do you have any other mods installed or just resetchunks? Also, which Minecraft version are you on?

yes, but this happens when I am outside the spawn chunks

I will try with just your mod

With your mod only, it works. I am running 1.18.2, with vanilla compliant mods, I will give it a deeper look tomorrow.

Should've guessed it straight away - it is caused by c2me (Concurrent Chunk Management Engine).
I don't know much about modding, but if I can be of any further use, please tell me.

By the way, this is probably quite useful info, the world freezes when I do this within a structure (tested in superflat world in a village). If I am outside a structure's range, it works as expected, just with a little extra lag.

I invite you to open an issue on our github page if you believe it's caused on our side (C2ME).
Ishland should be online tomorrow to look at this.
Have a nice Friday.
