Motorola Edge 2020 (Codename: racer)

This is the recommended smartphones as it has all of the 192kHz features and decent frequency responses.

Supported Features:

  • 192kHz bottom speaker
  • 192kHz top speaker

  • 192kHz top speaker
  • 192kHz 3.5mm stereo headphone
  • 192kHz 3.5mm microphone

SoC: Qualcomm SM7250 Snapdragon 765G

::: warning Only applicable to Motorola Edge 2020.

Motorola has released several Edge series smartphones with the same or similar names. Motorola Edge 2021, Edge 20, Edge S, Edge 30 are NOT applicable as they are completely different smartphones with different SoCs. :::

Samsung Galaxy S9+ Snapdragon (Codename: star2qltechn)

Supported Features:

  • 192kHz bottom speaker
  • 192kHz bottom microphone

Model Number: SM-G9650, SM-G9658, SM-G965x, etc.

SoC: Qualcomm SDM845 Snapdragon 845

Compatible Devices: Basically any S9+ with a Snapdragon SoC would work. However, with US versions (SM-G965xU), you will need to unlock the bootloader through a grey-market unlocking service or a third-party unlocking tool.

::: warning Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9+ with Exynos SoC are not compatible. :::

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro (Codename: joyeuse)

Supported Features:

  • 96kHz bottom speaker
  • 96kHz top speaker
  • 192kHz bottom microphone
  • 192kHz top microphone

Model Number: M2003J6B2G, M2003J6CI, M2003J6A1G, M2003J6A1R, M2003J6A1I, M2003J6B1I, 2109106A1I

SoC: Qualcomm SM7125 Snapdragon 720G

Compatible Devices: We only tested Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro (Global) version with model number M2003J6B2G. However, joyeuse is part of the bigger series miatoll. Theoretically, all miatoll smartphones should be compatible, include:

  • Redmi Note 9 Pro (Global)
  • Redmi Note 9 Pro (India)
  • Redmi Note 9 Pro Max
  • Redmi Note 10 Lite
  • POCO M2 Pro
  • Redmi Note 9 S

::: warning Redmi Note 9 Pro sold in China does not belong to miatoll series. Any variant supporting 5G is not compatible as it uses a different SoC. :::

Samsung Galaxy S10 Exynos (Codename: beyond1lte)

Supported Features:

  • 192kHz bottom microphone
  • 192kHz top microphone

SoC: Samsung Exynos 9820

::: warning Only Galaxy S10 with Exynos SoC is supported. Galaxy S10 with Snapdragon SoC, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10e, Note 10, Galaxy 10 5G are not compatible. :::
