Known good configs for each version of PowerShell #2376

Now this has some config details in the installation docs but it would be good to have say for the 3 most popular versions PowerShell: 5.1, 6.x and 7.x some notes on:

  • settings.json

  • C:\Users[User}\Documents\WindowsPowerShell\Microsoft.VSCode_profile.ps1

  • experimental settings we can set

I have these PowerShell Sessions but I wouldn't know if they are typical or not.
VSCode PowerShell Sessions

I am also plagued by the VSCode stops processing 'Start Debugging' issue. in ms-vscode.powershell-preview (2019.12.0)

So we could even have a known good script you want us to test with if we submit any logs.
