Describe the bug and add screenshots

Prestashop 1.7.8.7 Fresh Install

I added 4 Features

3 Features have one Value

1 Feature no Value

i add a product

i add to the product the related 4 features

the first 3 feature i use Mandatory Value

the 4th Feature i use Custom value example 0,043

Save , everything is Ok

i go on weight Product add weight Save and i go This Value is Not Valid

Expected behavior

Product Should be Saved With Custom and Mandatory Features as previous Prestashop Version

Steps to reproduce

add 4 features 3 with one value and one just cusom
add a product
put the features in the product with one feature custom
go on product weight ,s et the weight , than save
You will get the error on save this value is invalid

Thanks for your reply

In order to reproduce the Bug you should try at lease 3 times , in any case before save it is important to go on Weight product , set the weight

and than save , otherwise the bug will not work.

Sure i can upload video

In order to reproduce teh3 Bug:

Create 3 Features with one value Each ,

Create one feature withour value

Add Product

Than in the product set the 4 features , one should be custom Save Until here Ok.

Now kindly go on product weight , set the weight for example 0,033 Now Save , You will get the error

How i discover this Bug?:

I have two shop 1.7.8.7 both same problem :

What i did::

i installed a Fresh Prestashop Store

Create 4 new Features and i get the error even on Fresh Install.

Kindly ask if you can do another try.

Hi Rita ,

On attach my video , in this case Bug was reproduced in another Mode (About the same)
The question as i understand is that Custom Feature and Mandatory features together have some problem with this version

Thanks so much for your big support.
If you follow step by step and everything is Ok , i really have no idea what could be the issue , i can give you even the
url of the fresh Install it is a test shop , but what i can assure to you that it is a fresh Install , and i have same problems on two different active stores with same version

Step to reproduice :

1. Catalog > Products > edit a product
2. Add a feature
3. Choose a feature
4. Don't choice a value
5. Choose a customized value
6. Save
7. Refresh the page
8. Now you can't modify the value
9. Modify the feature to a other
10. Modify the feature to the previous
11. Choose a value
12. Choose a customized value
13. Save
14. Modify the Pre-defined value to "Choose a value"
15. Save
16. See the bug

I'll add this to the backlog so it can be fixed.

Please be aware that some issues might take a very long time to be resolved.

Hello @mauricecec the bug report is still open: it means it as not been fixed.

If you find that any issue is critical for you, and it's important to have it fixed ASAP, then you can invest into having it done. You can hire a developer to fix it, or if you are a developer yourself, you can try doing it on your own. The most important thing is to share that fix with everyone by submitting a Pull Request -- that's what the open source spirit is all about.

We understand that not having an issue fixed quickly (or in a fixed timeframe) can be frustrating. It does not mean that it won't be fixed, or that we don't care. It doesn't mean that the issue is NOT important either. It just means that other issues have been considered, for whatever reason, more important, so they were (or are being) tackled first. There's an immense amount of work to be done (2500 GitHub issues right now, and growing!), and tasks take time.

Be honest i do not need to fix this problem , even because i find a temp. Solution for this issue
i wrote this message again because when i reproduced the bug with 1.7.8.8 i was really surprised.

This is Not Absolutely a solution , this Bug persist until now even with prestashop 1.7.8.10 (even with fresh install)
However, with version 8 this problem seems to have been resolved , no one solved yet this issue (as video posted (fresh install)

That's a quick fix of course, ikr it's not a permanent fix, just to be able to save products until there will be a patch
