Context / Problem

Some modules, modules quality and multi-modules interaction can make PrestaShop unstable

Value proposition

Provide a Safe mode to disable some modules in order to have make PrestaShop usable again.

It can also help Care/support services to help merchants;

Success

TBD

Description

As a merchand
I want be able to have a safe mode in order to start PrestaShop without nasty modules, themes (?) or lang pack (?)

A a care guy
I want be able to have a safe mode
in order to help my customer to get again a stable PrestaShop

Perimeter

Spike - Analysis

  • Does the safe mode should be a separate application (url) with right access to PrestaShop or embeded to PS ?
  • Does the safe mode should provide authentification : as admin (?)
  • What happens if a SSO auth is include ?
