Categories not translated in MBO

Install shop in FR+FR
Go in Modules > Module Catalog
Click on the dropdow categories
See categories are not translated

Is it translated without MBO installed ? From what I can see, the categories are sent by the core $categories = $container->get('prestashop.categories_provider')->getCategoriesMenu($modules);
